Peer Review Process
The Review Policy of the Journal Pengabdian Masyarakat Singa Podium (JPMSIPO)
After submitting a manuscript, it will undergo an initial review by the Journal Editor to determine whether the manuscript is aligned with the scope and focus and suitable for further evaluation by reviewers. Occasionally, the editor may recommend revisions before sending it for review. This initial review process typically takes one week.
Manuscripts that pass the initial review will be assigned to at least two reviewers (double-blind peer review). Based on the review, the editor will make an editorial decision. There are five possible editorial decisions:
(1) Accepted,
(2) Requires revision,
(3) Resubmit,
(4) Sent to another publisher,
(5) Rejected.
Usually, the average time for delivery to the first editor is 2-4 weeks. The time required to reach a final decision depends on the number of review rotations, the author's responsiveness, and other factors. Typically, the average time for a final decision is 3-6 weeks.
